SNOWGA YOGA FLOW – SPRING BALANCE, BSM, FRIDAYS

An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Friday, repeating until 29th April 2022
Yoga + energy practices to build stability + flexibility in body + mind through the harsh months of Winter and alpine Spring
With co-ordination of breath + movement we will develop healthy patterns through the season to support functional movement, proper breathing + clarity of mind that can be transferred to our winter mountain activities for injury prevention, performance, stamina + agility.
Winter + Spring Balance targets the pre + post ski needs to compliment snow days on the mountain as well as working with the elements in season and their related meridians (energy pathways).
The key aims of practice are to work with the body in a balanced way to improve strength and flexibility, together with the experience of deep rest + mindfulness.
We practice yoga postures with joint-friendly flows to improve spinal stability + flexibility with attention to breath which improves mental focus and aids elimination of tensions + unnecessary stress.
PLEASE BRING a sense of adventure + a sense of humour + YOUR OWN MAT (If you need to borrow a mat please request one in advance)
