Snowga Yoga Flow – Winter Balance, BSM, Tuesdays

An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until 29th March 2022
Yoga + energy practices to build stability + flexibility in body + mind through the harsh months of Winter.
With co-ordination of breath + movement we will develop healthy patterns through the season to support functional movement, proper breathing + clarity of mind that can be transferred to our winter mountain activities for injury prevention, performance, stamina + agility.
Winter Balance works with the Water element + the related meridians (energy pathways) as well as targeting the pre + post ski needs to compliment winter days on the hill. The key aims of practice are to balance the experience of deep rest + mindful flowing movement with a beginners mind + sense of adventure (and humour).
We practice yoga postures with joint-friendly flows to improve spinal stability + flexibility with attention to breath which improves mental focus and aids elimination of tensions + unnecessary stress.
